New set images show Mckenna Grace‘s Daphne, Tanner Hagen‘s Shaggy, and Abby Ryder Fortson‘s Velma on the set of Netflix’s live-action Scooby-Doo: Origins series while filming in Atlanta, Georgia.
In the images, Grace’s Daphne Blake has reddish hair and wears casual clothes, giving the character a stylish but simple look. She is seen writing on a bench and talking with the others.

Fortson’s Velma Dinkley wears a maroon striped vest, a modern version of Velma’s classic outfit. She is often seen talking to the group or looking serious.

Hagen’s Shaggy Rogers has shaggy brown hair, a green-trimmed shirt, and a backpack. In one scene, he is also holding a basketball.

Below, you can spot an establishment called Magnus County Real Estate on the set of Scooby-Doo: Origins.

Mr. Magnus was the villain behind the Redbeard Ghost disguise in the original Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! series from 1969.
Here’s the plot details for Scooby-Doo: Origins:
Scooby-Doo: Origins will follow Shaggy and his old pal Daphne Blake (Mckenna Grace) during their final summer at camp, as seen in the new teaser. The teens become embroiled in a haunting mystery surrounding a lonely, lost Great Dane puppy that may have witnessed a supernatural murder. With help from the pragmatic and scientific townie Velma Dinkley (Abby Ryder Fortson) and the strange but ever-so-handsome new kid Fred Jones (Maxwell Jenkins), they set out to solve the case that’s pulling them into a creepy nightmare that threatens to expose all their secrets. Based on the characters from the Hanna-Barbera cartoon, the beloved group of teens and their very special dog will explore the terrifying case that first brought Mystery Inc. together.
Netflix’s Scooby-Doo: Origins stars Mckenna Grace as Daphne Blake, Tanner Hagen as Shaggy Rogers, Abby Ryder Fortson as Velma Dinkley, Maxwell Jenkins as Fred Jones, Paul Walter Hauser as Scooby-Doo’s owner, and Frank Welker as the voice of Scooby-Doo, a talking Great Dane puppy. The cast also includes Rusty Schwimmer as Rhonda Poverly, Sara Gilbert, Peter Macon, Maxwell Simkins, Jona Xiao, Dani Deetté, Elysée Sanvillé, Alex Isles, Avery Kristen Pohl, Pamela Mitchell, Ross Kimball, Wynn Everett, Sauriyan Sapkota, Bruce McGill, and Sherilyn Fenn.
Created by Joe Ruby and Ken Spears, the Scooby-Doo! franchise launched in 1969 with the duo’s first animated series, Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!, for Hanna-Barbera, which was later absorbed into Warner Bros. Animation.
The series, written by Josh Appelbaum and Scott Rosenberg, follows the origins of Mystery Inc. as the group first meets and works together on their first major mystery. Rosenberg and Appelbaum executive produce with Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Leigh London Redman, André Nemec, and Jeff Pinkner.
Scooby-Doo: Origins will consist of eight episodes and will premiere in 2027.
