Netflix‘s Stranger Things Season 5 is set to release in November 2025.
According to Netflix’s website code (via API), Stranger Things 5 will premiere on November 27, 2025.
On X, user @UpsideDownScoop, who frequently provides updates about the Stranger Things show, revealed a possible release date for Season 5. “By examining Netflix’s website code, we discovered that the internal release date for Stranger Things 5 is listed as: Thursday, November 27, 2025.”
The user also added, “As of now, Season 5 is listed to release in one volume! However, it’s still early, and Netflix could always make changes.”
Season 5 filming wrapped in mid-December 2024, with Netflix officially announcing it and sharing some behind-the-scenes images of the cast. Post-production work is now underway.
The final season will have 8 episodes, with the titles as follows: Episode 1: “The Crawl,” Episode 2: “The Vanishing of Holly Wheeler,” Episode 3: “The Turnbow Trap,” Episode 4: “Sorcerer,” Episode 5: “Shock Jock,” Episode 6: “Escape From Camazotz,” Episode 7: “The Bridge,” and Episode 8: “The Rightside Up.”

The show’s co-creator Matt Duffer confirms that Season 5 will be the final season, concluding the stories of Eleven, Dustin, Lucas, and Hopper.
Speaking on Podcrushed Episode 73, Hawke teased that ‘Stranger Things’ Season 5 will have eight episodes and revealed that writing and filming each season takes a significant amount of time. Hawke said, “It takes a long time to write each season and a long time to shoot them. We’re making basically eight movies.”
Created by the Duffer brothers. The show is set in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana in the 1980s and follows a group of friends as they uncover supernatural mysteries and government conspiracies.
