Austin Abrams (Euphoria) is currently offered the role of Sentry in Marvel’s ‘Thunderbolts,’ following the departure of Steven Yeun.
According to Cosmic Marvel, Dev Patel was also reportedly offered the role of Sentry, but he declined the offer.
‘Thunderbolts’ was struck by last year’s dual writers and actors strikes, which put schedules in disarray across Hollywood. As a result, Yeun won’t play Sentry in ‘Thunderbolts’ anymore.
Directed by Jake Schreier from a script written by Lee Sung Jin and Eric Pearson. The plot details are kept secret in the Marvel database. Also, Schreier has already confirmed that the ‘Thunderbolts’ will consist of individuals who share a common history of past trauma.
