Two top actresses have been found for the role of Kara Zor-El/Supergirl in the DCU.
Milly Alcock (‘House of the Dragon’) and Meg Donnelly (‘The Winchesters’) are the final contenders for the role of Supergirl in the DCU, confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter. Earlier contenders Cailee Spaeny and Emilia Jones are no longer in consideration.
The filming for ‘Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow‘ is set to start in the second half of 2024. Before her solo movie, Supergirl will debut in the DC Universe in James Gunn‘s ‘Superman: Legacy.’
It was confirmed that Sasha Calle will not be portraying Kara Zor-El/Supergirl in the DCU. In January 2023, Gunn announced a Supergirl film, ‘Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow,’ as part of Chapter One: Gods and Monsters in the DC Universe. Ana Nogueira will write the script.
Who is the Cast of ‘Superman: Legacy’?
‘Superman: Legacy’ stars David Corenswet as Clark Kent/Superman, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Edi Gathegi as Michael Holt/Mr. Terrific, María Gabriela De Faría as The Engineer, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner/Green Lantern, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, and Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho.
