The worldwide total now stands at $72.8 million.
Venom: The Last Dance had a budget of $120 million and is now tracking to earn $45–$50 million in its domestic opening weekend, underperforming expectations but performing well internationally.
Venom: The Last Dance holds a 6.2/10 rating on IMDb, 37% on Rotten Tomatoes, 41% on Metacritic, and a B- grade from CinemaScore.
Kelly Marcel, who directed the first film will return to direct from a screenplay she co-wrote with Tom Hardy. It is a sequel to Venom and Venom: Let There Be Carnage. The film stars Hardy as Eddie Brock/Venom, Juno Temple, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach, and Stephen Graham.
