Season 3 of ‘Only Murders in the Building,’ starring Steve Martin, Martin Short, Selena Gomez, Paul Rudd, and Meryl Streep, has begun filming.
Gomez announced season 3 on Instagram with a video featuring stars Meryl Streep, Steve Martin, Paul Rudd, and Martin Short. Streep is a newcomer, and her role as a guest or recurring star has yet to be confirmed. Gomez quoted, “I could cry ? season 3 is coming!” Check out the post below.
Only Murders in the Building follows Charles-Haden Savage (Steve Martin), Oliver Putnam (Martin Short), and Mabel Mora (Selena Gomez), neighbors at the Arconia on the Upper West Side, who connect over true crime podcasts and start their own when mysterious murders occur around them. In Season 1, they discovered Tim Kono’s (Julian Cihi) murder, and in Season 2, they discovered Bunny Folger’s (Jayne Houdyshell) murder.

In Only Murders in the Building Season 3, Charles-Haden Savage, Oliver Putnam, and Mabel Mora will uncover who killed Ben Glenroy (Paul Rudd). Season 3 also stars Jesse Williams.
The series was co-created by Steve Martin and John Hoffman for Hulu. Seasons one and two each contain 10 episodes. The upcoming third season will feature ten episodes. Only Murders in the Building won multiple plaudits, including Primetime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Comedy Series and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for Martin and Short.
‘Only Murders in the Building’ Season 3 began filming in January 2023. The filming will be completed by the end of May 2023, with the premiere scheduled for September 2023.
