Marvel Studios is reportedly planning a double treat for fans on the release date of James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash.
According to X user @trailertrack, the first teaser trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day is rumored to play in front of Avatar: Fire and Ash, which is scheduled to hit theaters on December 19, 2025. It’s also been confirmed that a first-look teaser for Avengers: Doomsday will debut in theaters on the same day.
Currently, four upcoming movie trailers are rumored to release alongside Avatar: Fire and Ash. They are The Odyssey, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Avengers: Doomsday, and DC’s Supergirl. We’ll have to wait a little longer for official confirmation.

Filming for Spider-Man: Brand New Day is now underway in Basingstoke, with Tom Holland’s Spider-Man joined by Sadie Sink, Mark Ruffalo, and Liza Colón-Zayas, who were all spotted on set. By late November 2025, the production is expected to be halfway complete.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. The film stars Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon reprising their roles as MJ Watson and Ned Leeds. Sink joins the cast alongside Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle (a.k.a. The Punisher) and Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk. Liza Colón-Zayas and Tramell Tillman have also been cast in undisclosed roles, while Michael Mando returns as Mac Gargan from Spider-Man: Homecoming and Jones III has been confirmed to play the role of Tombstone. Additionally, Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova will appear in the movie.

After the world has forgotten his name, Peter Parker (Holland) begins a new chapter in his life — balancing college classes, part-time work, and his responsibility as New York’s friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. But when a mysterious force begins to unravel the city from the inside out, Peter finds himself caught between powerful enemies, old legacies, and unexpected allies. As shadows from the past creep into his present, he must redefine what it truly means to be a hero — on his own.

Avatar: Fire and Ash will hit theaters on December 19, 2025. Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to release on July 31, 2026, followed by Avengers: Doomsday on December 17, 2027.
