The Boys prequel series Vought Rising may feature Supernatural reunions, with Eric Kripke saying he is open to bringing familiar actors back together.
According to Kripke, he has a lot of respect for the Supernatural fanbase. He revealed that he is always open to including Supernatural cameos if the story fits naturally. Kripke described the Supernatural cast as “family.”

He also said that more Supernatural actors could appear in The Boys universe, though any potential cameos would depend on finding the right character and story opportunity.
Speaking to ScreenRant, Kripke said, “The Supernatural fandom is a beautiful and terrifying thing, and I treat it with the proper respect. If the story’s right, and the right character opportunity comes up, I will always be open to Supernatural cameos. I love all those people. They’re my family, and I like working with people that I like. So, I’m always open to it.”
Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles recently appeared together in The Boys Season 5, Episode 5, alongside former Supernatural star Misha Collins. Ackles first joined The Boys in Season 3 as Soldier Boy and later returned briefly in the Season 4 finale. Fans had long speculated that Padalecki would eventually join the series, and his casting was officially confirmed in February 2025.
The Boys may be ending after Season 5, but Eric Kripke still has plans for the universe. The upcoming prequel Vought Rising will center more on Soldier Boy, making it possible for familiar Supernatural actors to appear together again.
Eric Kripke shared new details about the plot of Vought Rising.
According to Kripke, the series follows the characters’ transition from the military into the private sector, where “things start getting flashier because it’s about showmanship. It’s less about military discipline and more about consumerism, and then you start to see them evolve that way. It’s really fascinating.”
The Boys Season 5 is now streaming on Prime Video.
