Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday is reportedly set to feature some heartbreaking moments in its opening scene, as fan-favorite Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man and his universe face an incursion. During this time, he also fights Hugh Jackman‘s Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds‘ Deadpool.
According to scooper James Mack, during the opening battle of Avengers: Doomsday, Maguire’s Spider-Man fights Deadpool, Wolverine, and Magneto. During the confrontation, he pleads with them and even mentions that he has a daughter.
A flashback in Avengers: Doomsday reportedly shows the remaining X-Men members being killed during the incursions.
James also shared, “Jane Foster will return for the final battle in Avengers: Doomsday, and the group of Deadpool variants will appear in Avengers: Secret Wars.”
