DC’s Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow is now halfway through production. Many have wondered why set images of Supergirl filming have not been leaked yet. This is because most of the initial schedule took place at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden in England. Following the completion of that phase, the set is now being constructed in the U.K., where some images have been leaked.
On X, user @UnBoxPHD has shared leaked images of the Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow set under construction, along with a leaked look at the official storyboard, which reveals two covered vehicles. See the images below.

The set work will be completed this week, and filming will begin soon. We can expect more leaks during production, similar to the leaks from James Gunn’s Superman filming. After completing the U.K. schedule, the final phase of filming will take place in Iceland, with production expected to wrap in May 2025.

Recently, DC Studios boss James Gunn shared the first behind-the-scenes look at Milly Alcock on set, featuring Alcock’s Supergirl sitting at a bar—a scene from Tom King’s comic book.
Gunn said, “Thrilled to see cameras roll at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden on Supergirl, with Craig Gillespie at the helm and the phenomenal Milly Alcock as our Kara Zor-El. Craig brings an incredible sensibility to this story, and Milly is every inch the unique Supergirl envisioned by Tom King, Bilquis Evely, and Ana Nogueira.”
In the film, Alcock play the role of Kara Zor-El/Supergirl, Matthias Schoenaerts as Krem of the Yellow Hills, Eve Ridley as Ruthye, Jason Momoa as Lobo, David Krumholtz as Zor-El, and Emily Beecham as Alura In-Ze.
Directed by Craig Gillespie, from a screenplay by Ana Nogueira and based on the comic by Tom King and Bilquis Evely, the film will serve as the second entry in the DC Universe and the fourth installment of Chapter One: Gods and Monsters.
Here’s the plot details for Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow:
Tom King and Bilquis Evely’s 2021 Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow comic book mini-series follows Kara Zor-El as she goes on a space adventure to help a young alien girl, Ruthye, get revenge on the warlord Krem, who killed her father.
Gunn and Peter Safran are producing the film, with DC EVP Chantal Nong serving as the executive producer.
Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow will hit theaters on June 26, 2026.
