Prime Video has released the final trailer for Spider-Noir, starring Nicolas Cage as Ben Reilly / Spider-Noir. Set in the 1930s, the series follows a darker version of the Marvel hero as he returns to crime-fighting.
The trailer reveals that Spider-Noir will battle a variation of the Sinister Five, rather than the traditional Sinister Six seen in Marvel comics. Rather than following Peter Parker, the Spider-Noir series explores the story of Ben Reilly in a noir-inspired Marvel universe.

The trailer is available in both black-and-white and full-color versions. Check them out below:
Nicolas Cage says he suggested shooting Spider-Noir in color because “teenagers don’t have much experience with black and white.”
Cage said, “The dream is they watch it in color and then they check it out in black and white and learn something, and then maybe go, ‘Hey, I want to see some of these movie references.’ Then they open a treasure trove of the great American cinema. That’s the dream. I hope that happens.”

The story of Spider-Noir focuses on a gangland boss known as Silvermane, played by Gleeson, who has been the subject of repeated assassination attempts. Maybe that’s just one of the hazards of his business, or maybe there’s a broader scheme at play. Reilly starts to believe something’s amiss when an arsonist suspected of setting a blaze at Silvermane’s mansion reveals he can spark fire from his hands. Then Reilly runs afoul of hired muscle named Flint Marko (Jack Huston), who invites him to go pound sand—also known as engaging in fisticuffs.
The show stars Nicolas Cage as Ben Reilly / The Spider, Lamorne Morris as Robbie Robertson, Li Jun Li as Cat Hardy, Karen Rodriguez as Janet, Abraham Popoola as Lonnie Lincoln / Tombstone, Jack Huston as Flint Marko / Sandman, and Brendan Gleeson as Silvermane.
Oren Uziel (22 Jump Street) and Steve Lightfoot (The Punisher) serve as co-showrunners and executive producers on Spider-Noir. The series also brings in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse creators Phil Lord, Chris Miller, and Amy Pascal as executive producers. Harry Bradbeer will direct the first two episodes while also serving as an executive producer, with Pascal producing through her company, Pascal Pictures.
Produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios, with Lord and Miller currently under an overall deal at Sony.
Spider-Noir will premiere on May 25, 2026, on MGM+ in the United States and will consist of eight episodes. All episodes will be released globally on Prime Video on May 27.
