In exclusive footage, Cruise is captured filming scenes for the ‘Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One‘ sequel at Whitehall Parliament Square and Westminster Bridge. He’s seen being chased by police officers and army soldiers, managing to escape despite his smart suit being splattered with blood as he runs across iconic London landmarks. Check out the clip below.

Directed by Christopher McQuarrie and co-written by McQuarrie and Erik Jendresen, the film stars Cruise as the iconic character Ethan Hunt. Joining an ensemble cast, including Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Esai Morales, Vanessa Kirby, Pom Klementieff, Henry Czerny, Shea Whigham, Greg Tarzan Davis, Mariela Garriga, Rolf Saxon, Holt McCallany, Nick Offerman, Mark Gatiss, Charles Parnell, Janet McTeer, Hannah Waddingham, Lucy Tulugarjuk, and Katy O’Brian.

The plot details for ‘Mission Impossible 8’ have not yet been revealed, but it is confirmed to be a follow-up to ‘Dead Reckoning Part One’.

‘Dead Reckoning Part One’ concluded its domestic run with $172 million, marking one of the year’s biggest flops. Internationally, it grossed $393 million, bringing the worldwide total to $566 million against a $220 million budget.

‘Mission Impossible 8’ will hit theaters on May 23, 2025, by Paramount Pictures.
