Ido Samuel: One of the Lucky Ones

Success often comes when we least expect it. Last year, Ido Samuel went from struggling to pay his bills to living the actor’s dream, booking one role after another and journeying across the globe for each new opportunity. From the historic streets of Scotland to the picturesque landscapes of Hungary and Spain, and then to the heart of Romania, Samuel’s career has been a whirlwind of exhilarating projects and profound performances.

A Summer in Glasgow

Samuel’s remarkable year began in Glasgow with the grand production of “Tehran.” This feature film, a significant Indian production, saw him share the screen with Indian cinema luminaries John Abraham and Manushi Chhillar. Though specifics are still under wrap, the movie is scheduled for release very soon.

Swift Transition to the FBI: International

No sooner had Samuel wrapped up in Glasgow than he was jetting off to Hungary to start filming an episode for the CBS hit series “FBI: International.” In Season 2, Episode 3, titled “Money Is Meaningless,” Samuel takes on the role of Levi Solomon, a billionaire entangled in a high-stakes investigation following the brutal murder of his wife. Portraying Levi, the second-generation heir to a blood diamond business, Samuel brings depth and charisma to the character, navigating the complexities of wealth, power, and loss. This episode became the most-watched of the season, a testament to his compelling performance.
