Pixar‘s ‘Elemental‘ is projected to earn between $28 million and $38 million during its opening weekend at the domestic box office. Comparatively, these figures fall behind the impressive performance of “Lightyear” ($51 million), making it one of the lowest openings ever recorded for a Pixar film.
Elemental is directed by Peter Sohn from a screenplay by John Hoberg, Kat Likkel, Brenda Hsueh, and Sohn. Produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

Elemental will premiere at the 76th Cannes Film Festival on May 27, 2023, and is scheduled to be theatrically released in the United States on June 16, in RealD 3D, 4DX, and Dolby Cinema formats.
